You know we love to embrace our curves and design dresses that fit and flatter your curvy body! Today we want to celebrate a selection of those beautiful women that inspire us and show off plus size clothes to perfection! The 6 women listed vary in their ages, and sizes, but all have this in common: they are strong, successful, beautiful, models who stand up and embrace their body.

She has modeled for labels such as Forever 21, Silver Jeans and plus-size specialists Fashion To Figure. Kate Dillon began her career as a size 6 with Elite NYC, but after overcoming health issues (anorexia) eventually re-launched her career as a U.S. size 14 plus-size model. Dillon enjoyed a fast rise to fame via the covers and editorials of MODE Magazine, and has appeared in advertising for clients well outside of the usual plus-size norm such as Gucci, Isabella Rossellini’s ‘Manifesto’ perfume, and Nine West. 4. Tara Lynn
Tara Lynn walked into a modeling agency in Seattle on a whim four and a half years ago, they signed her on the spot. At a UK size 16 she put herself in a position where her body is going to be judged, and judged it was, by 2010 she was on the cover of Italian Vogue and recently she appeared on the cover of French Elle. Getting editorial work in style magazines – as opposed to commercial work – is still rare for a plus-size model, but Lynn thinks that’s changing. “We’re getting cast a little bit more and starting to see a diversified body image in shoots.”

Fluvia Lacerda moved to New York about 14 years ago from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. At the time Fluvia worked as a nanny and her life changed completely. Today Fluvia’s face and curves are one of the most successful and requested ones worldwide. Known as the “plus size version of Gisele Bundchen”, Fluvia is the only brazillian working internationally, making her an icon in her homeland, Brazil.
